About Us

Breakups don’t come with a guidebook. One minute you’re sharing your life with someone, and the next, you’re Googling things like “how to make him miss me” at 2 a.m. Your heart’s pounding, your eyes are swollen, and everything feels upside down.

We’ve been there.

GetExBackSecrets.com is for anyone caught in the messy middle of love and loss. Maybe you’re fresh out of a breakup. Maybe you’re still tangled in feelings for someone who feels halfway gone. Or maybe you’re quietly hoping there’s still a way back to what you had… only stronger, wiser, and more real.

This blog isn’t about pretending heartbreak doesn’t hurt. It’s not about judging you for still wanting them back. And it’s definitely not about making you feel like you’re failing if you haven’t “moved on” yet.

So you won’t find quick fixes dressed up as forever solutions.

What you will find are honest conversations, practical tools, and guidance that meets you where you are. Sometimes that includes programs or courses that have helped others… and when it does, I’ll only share what I believe has real value.

Here, we talk about:

  • How to stop the spiral of overthinking

  • What to do (and not do) after a breakup

  • When to reach out, and when to let go

  • How to reconnect in a way that feels respectful to both of you

  • How to come back home to yourself, even if they never do

I won’t tell you what to feel. I won’t push you toward some perfect version of healing that doesn’t feel true for you. I’m here to walk beside you through it, and to help you hear your own voice again… the one that gets lost when your heart is still holding on.

A little about me

My name is Laura. I’ve lived through heartbreak, divorce, long nights filled with questions, and the slow, painful work of rebuilding something that felt lost. I’m not a therapist or a relationship coach. I’m just someone who’s been in the thick of it and came out the other side with stories to tell and tools that helped.

This blog started quietly: a few shared notes, late-night journal entries, conversations with friends who were hurting too. Over time, it became a home for the kind of guidance I once needed but couldn’t find.

Thanks for being here.

I hope something you read makes you feel a little more grounded… and a little less alone.

To second chances,
Laura Bennett
